CORPORATE INVESTORS IN PEOPLE

This accolade recognises that we truly invest in and communicate with our employees and that we give everyone the opportunity to develop and improve with us in line with the IIP standards.

The news that The Red Carnation Hotel Collection has achieved Investors in People status marks a unique achievement in IIP accreditation. With all seven of its UK properties, plus the 12 Apostles in Cape Town and Hotel d’Angleterre having gained IIP status, Red Carnation Hotels can now claim to be the first international company to achieve across-the-board global Corporate Investors in People recognition.

In recent years, Red Carnation has won numerous awards for its training and staff development programmes, and Managing Director Jonathan Raggett is convinced that quality of personnel will always be critical to Red Carnation's ongoing success.

“Ours is an international collection of luxury five- and four-star hotels, and every one of our properties had to be uniformly excellent. Our training and development programmes have a simple goal, to ensure the absolute satisfaction of our guests. For many years now we've understood that we can only achieve that aim if all our staff, from top to bottom, is fulfilled and achieving their maximum potential. The Investors in People standard provides a framework to ensure that people have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently, and helps us realise our objectives through the management and development of people. Displaying the prestigious IIP marque on all our hotels’ communications lets the world, and especially our guests, know that we take the quality of our staff, their happiness, efficiency, and fulfilment, very seriously indeed.”
