Liz McGivern, Director of Human Resources and Training for Red Carnation Hotels was named Human Resources Manager of the year at the Hotel Catey Annual Industry awards, by the Caterer & Hotelkeeper.

The Hotel Cateys are often referred to as the "Oscars" of the hotel industry and are a truly independant benchmark of operational excellence. They aim to "recognise, reward and celebrate the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to support the UK’s hotel sector by delivering an exceptional guest experience day in, day out". Candidates in each category are nominated by their peers and winners are chosen by judging panels selected for their expertise and industry knowledge.

Everyone at Red Carnation Hotels is very proud of Liz. That she has won this award is brilliant recognition of all of her hard work and everything she has achieved for this company.

This year alone Red Carnation Hotels have been awarded one star in the Best Companies Accreditation Awards, won Best Places to Work in Hospitality by Caterer & Hotelkeeper and was a winner in the National Training Awards. These are all excellent acknowledgement of Liz McGivern and the entire Human Resources Team at Red Carnation Hotels.
