MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME 1 - STRUCTURE

  • 12 months Front Office (Reservations, Reception, Concierge, Nights, Housekeeping, Yield and Revenue Management)
  • 12 months Food and Beverage Department (Conference & Banqueting, Bar, Lounge, Restaurant and Kitchen)
  • 1 month Human Resources (optional)
  • 1 month Accounts and IT (optional)
  • 1 Month Marketing (optional)
  • 1 Month Sales (optional)

During this time you will also receive some formal training -

  • 3 days Practical Training Certificate (An training qualification awarded through Stonebow)
  • 5 days (plus work based assignment) Ambassadors in Management 2, leading to the Institute in Leadership & Management Introductory Certificate in First Line Management

You will be assigned an in-company mentor from the senior management team who will be there to help and guide you.  You will also meet regularly with the Managing Director – so you are truly part of the management team from the start!  We also encourage all our Management Programme Participants to get involved in projects and assignments to extend her/his knowledge and growth in the company.  Ours is a programme that nurtures and helps the individuals in to successful hotel career.
