Hotel: The Rubens at the Palace

The Pastry Kitchen within the Rubens at the Palace Hotel in London is looking for a Pastry Chef to join the Kitchen team of this beautiful four-star deluxe property, located opposite Buckingham Palace and a short walking distance from Victoria station.
Key responsibilities of the Pastry Chef will include:
• day to day running of the pastry section
• production of fresh, seasonal desserts, bread and afternoon teas to high standard
• working on dessert menu development
• assisting with the ordering and controlling of stock
Working hours are mainly from 9am until 5pm, five days out of seven. This position has excellent progression opportunities within Red Carnation Hotel collection, the perfect first step to those who are looking for an exciting career in the Kitchen.
The ideal candidate for the Pastry Chef position will have previous experience in a similar role and be passionate for providing first class food to our guests. Experience in a fine dining restaurant or Hotel is desirable. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard working person who can communicate effectively in English and be eligible to work in the UK.
