Well, we've stayed at Red Carnation Hotels in the past, as you know... and, The Egerton is by far the friendliest and nicest. Absolutely everyone went out of their way to make our stay exceptional... everyone! Our room was beautiful - and the perfect size (for all our stuff)... and the location of the hotel is exactly as you mentioned - "a hidden treasure". We were very close by to all the major shopping - plus, a hop-skip from the parks. I am only sorry that I couldn't say more. All of you are really, really, amazing people. It truly makes a difference when someone smiles at you, and even smiles when they may not be having their best day... and, I don't recall ever when we didn't pass or approach one of your staff when they weren't smiling or happy. It must be magic - the way everyone gets along so well and makes their customers feel at home ... maybe they have been told to do so ... or, maybe they are so happy at work that it comes naturally.

My wife and I stayed at the Milestone last year and it was indeed a great experience. The Egerton (which is in a better location for us) was every bit the experience of the Milestone. We plan on returning! Wonderful hotel.

A wonderful stay, all staff were exemplary. We stayed to celebrate my husband's birthday and were not disappointed. From the welcome glass of champagne, to the chocolate dipped strawberries, birthday cake, champagne on ice, rose petals and scented candles. A truly memorable experience. Will definitely be recommending and intend to return and try out more in the Red Carnation Hotel range.

We had an uneventful trip home and now we have to adjust to preparing our own breakfasts again - we do miss the poached pears and the lovely breakfast service at the Egerton! We both LOVE the Egerton. You folks set the standard for service.

Thank you for the signed copy of Mrs Tollman’s book. I was delighted it reached Australia before I did. As a result I have been able to share with friends our wonderful experience of staying at the Egerton and show them this lovely book with the family’s history and favourite recipes. I have tried quite a few of the recipes already with great success. Our stay at the Egerton did exceed expectation and I will add it is one of the best hotel experiences I have had ever. The dedication of the staff and their sincerity in this pursuit was exemplary.

Just a line to thank you for your generous welcome and for looking after Prue and I so well, at our short stay at Egerton House last week. As you know we’re devotees of Summer Lodge, but Egerton has become a bit of an autumn habit over the past three years. Such a wonderful ambience and so nice to be pampered for a short but memorable stay. We were even entertained briefly by Antonio when we had a spot of supper in the bar. It was good to see Bea Tollman again at breakfast, sitting with Michelle, whom we have never met.

Over the years we have travelled to many parts of the world and have a few very special places that we love returning to, Egerton House Hotel being at the top. I think that our first stay was either 06 or 07! We don’t travel quite as much these days, for many reasons, but each time we do we look forward to visiting our favourites and finding something new to add to the “adventure”. The Management is very ably supporting by some of the loveliest and most competent front desk staff we have ever met. Antonio always make us welcome as he does with all of your guests and always goes out of his way to add to the very “friendly” atmosphere of Egerton House. I was going through my email inbox deleting many of the older mail and found a note from some friends who stayed with you during last May on our recommendation. They loved the stay and will return one day soon. We really do tell all of our friends about the Hotel!!
Rosie & I are already looking at visiting again next year and a Lottery win would have us back tomorrow! Thank you so much for making us feel like we had returned to our London “home”.
