The School of Night at St James Theatre

  • Category: Music & Theatre
  • Dates: Saturday, 04 May 2013 to Sunday, 05 May 2013

St James Theatre will be hosting a performance by the talented improv performers the School of Night on May 4th and 5th 2013.

The group are disciples of the maverick experimental director, writer and actor Ken Campbell and perform dynamic shows in which they create poems, songs and miniature dramas on the spot based on suggestions by members of the audience.

Their unique blend of literary and Shakespearean extemporisation allows them to freely switch between different styles and improvise varied material on the spot, winning them acclaim from publications such as the Telegraph and the British Theatre Guide.

Performances take place at 20:00 BST on the Saturday and 19:30 on the Sunday and last for 70 minutes, with tickets priced between £10 and £17.50.

Luxury London hotel guests who are planning to attend could book a Knightsbridge Experience package at The Egerton House Hotel and take advantage of perks such as full daily breakfasts, afternoon tea for two and Champagne on arrival during their stay.
