Fine Dining

A FEAST FOR THE SENSES

Everyone has their own idea of what makes a great meal. Some diners seek out local specialities, others look for inventive modern fusions, classic comfort dishes, international favourites, or the quiet tradition of afternoon tea.

We like to focus on local, seasonal produce. This approach will mean different things in different places, and our menus at The Chesterfield Palm Beach will have a different flavour to those at The Chesterfield Mayfair in London or the highly-acclaimed Windows Restaurant in Geneva. At Summer Lodge in Dorset you might be asked to choose between Dorset Blue Vinny cheese and locally reared lamb.  In Cape Town, at the Azure Restaurant at the Twelve Apostles Hotel, you’ll find yourself torn between a sumptuous seafood platter harvested from the South Atlantic and the chef’s innovative Fynbos cooking which makes use of this natural wild vegetation from the hotel’s gardens to extraordinary effect. Whatever your taste, you can count on quality foods, prepared with the greatest care, tradition and attention that is sure to satisfy.

Equally important when dining is selecting a wonderful wine to accompany your meal and at each hotel you will find an extensive selection. Some of our hotel restaurants have world-class sommeliers who know just the right label when required and are at your service to assist in the choosing. Keeping their skills fresh and putting them to good use, there is also a number of wine event programmes to capture guests’ imagination.
