Palm Beach has just celebrated its centenary but in that short period it has established itself as one of the world’s most popular resorts – with good reason.
Worth Avenue is the Rodeo Drive of Florida. Music lovers can enjoy open air concerts at The Meyer Amphitheatre, while the Society of the Four Arts is Palm Beach's unique cultural destination for art exhibits, concerts, lectures, films, children's programs and more. The South Florida Fairgrounds hosts the South Florida Fair each January, as well as several concert, music & art fairs throughout the year.
The South Florida Science Museum includes hands-on science exhibits and a series of salt-water aquariums teeming with local sea life. Palm Beach Zoo, a lush tropical habitat of 23 acres and home to over 1,400 animals, is also a great excursion. Lion Country Safari is another great wildlife attraction with over 800 animals roaming free.
The resort includes Everglades Golf Course, the Breakers Ocean Golf Course and the Trump International Golf Club amongst a host of others. It also boasts the largest croquet facility in the world, and The International Polo Club, one of the most beautiful venues for watching top class players compete in prestigious tournaments.
