RCH AWARDED CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 2008
Red Carnation Hotels are thrilled to have been awarded The Ark Foundation's Winner of the Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2008.
The Ark Foundation is a support, educational and advisory service offered by Hospitality Action on the issues and dangers surrounding alcohol and substance abuse within the hopsitality industry. Affecting all employees, management and students of the hospitality sector this programme aims to promote sensible attitudes and moderate behaviour, ultimately benefiting the individual, the organisation and society as a whole.
Earlier this year, Red Carnation Hotels embarked on a proactive approach to this innovative programme and implemented a company wide policy addressing these issues as well as conducting seminars in the UK on drink and drug awareness, attended by all employees.
Following the successes of this intitiative we are committed to continuing our work in this area and also participate in fundraising events on behalf of Hospitality Action whilst encouraging colleagues within the industry to also get involved and help wherever possible.
