Concert for Hope in Geneva

For music lovers in Geneva it doesn't get much better than May 24th 2008, when the annual Fete de l'Espoir or Concert for Hope comes to town.

Taking place close to luxury Geneva hotel Hotel d'Angleterre at Geneva's Stade du Bout du Monde, this free music event attracts roughly 35,000 visitors annually.

Over a period of nine hours, more than 20 national and international artists take to the stage and perform to packed-out audiences.

Other activities also take place during the concert including games and competitions while children's concerts are also part of the entertainment.

The Concert for Hope came into being almost a decade ago and now includes face painting for children, football games and climbing - all in the name of hope.

Supported by the City of Geneva Department of Cultural Affairs, the music is a major part of this festival and visitors from nearby luxury hotel Hotel d'Angleterre can be assured of a fun and memorable experience if they attend this event.
