Speed-the-Plow

Event: Speed-the-Plow
Date: February 1st 2008 until April 26th 2008

Once the Christmas panto season comes to an end, service can resume as normal in London's theatres.

And so it shall do at the Old Vic Theatre from February 1st 2008, when guests staying at nearby luxury London hotel the Milestone will have the opportunity to see David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, featuring Kevin Spacey.

Described as "witty" and "caustic", Mamet fans can look forward to the playwright's customary fast punchy dialogue as the tale of Hollywood producers Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox is told.

Producer Gould must decide whether to make a blockbuster movie with Fox - played by fellow Hollywood actor Jeff Goldblum - or pursue his attractive secretary's spiritual novel adaptation.

Mamet is famous for plays such as Glengarry Glen Ross, Oleanna and American Buffalo - with Glengarry Glen Ross currently being performed at the Apollo Theatre.

Speed-the-Plow is sure to make for a great evening out for guests staying at luxury London hotel the Milestone.
