Mad Woman in the Attic

Event: Mad Woman in the Attic
Date: February 9th until March 14th 2008

A comic monologue is retuning by popular demand to villages in Dorset this winter, it has been announced.

Visitors staying at luxury Dorset hotel the Summer Lodge can enjoy what has been described as an "astounding piece of work" by Wiltshire folk Arts.

Starring Sally Sanders as Pat, Mad Woman In The Attic is a humorous and yet poignant play which aims to challenge what it describes as "preconceptions about senior citizens in a world dominated by youth culture".

Likely to appeal to an older crowd Sanders' performance has been described by Fosseway magazine as "enthralling".

Previous productions that guests of the luxury Dorset hotel may recognise Sanders from include The Killing of Sister George, A Taste Of Honey, I've Been Here Before and television show Casualty.

Between Saturday February 9th and Friday March 14th Mad Woman In The Attic will be performed at village halls in Bradford Peverell, West Stafford, Nether Compton, Shipton Gorge, Milborne St Andrew, Langton Matravers and Briantspuddle.
