The Laughing Cows is an all-female line-up of comedy featuring Shappi Khorsandi, Lian Ross and Anette Fagon.

There has always been a rich vein of women-fronted comedy in the UK, from the delights of French and Saunders to the sharp wit of Nina Conti and the Laughing Cows Comedy Night set for February 7th 2008 at the Bath House in Soho continues this fine tradition.

Featuring the comic stylings of Iranian born but British-raised Shappi Khorsandi, Lian Ross and Anette Fagon, the night was first set up in 1998 after female promoter Hazel O'Keefe was told it was too risky to feature more than one female comic on a bill.

"Every show is designed to get the audience laughing from start to finish, by showcasing the best of female comedy, in a friendly and enthused atmosphere, the night's MySpace page promises.

Comedy fans from around the country can head to London to enjoy a night of laughs before staying at luxury London hotel the Rubens on the Palace on Buckingham Palace road.
