Event: Thomas Hope: Regency Designer
Date: March 21st until June 22nd 2008

Anyone with an interest in Regency period design and staying at luxury London hotel the Milestone this March should not miss the Thomas Hope: Regency Designer exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The museum claims Hope had an "important" trendsetting role in terms of early 19th century design taste.

In particular, it is this period which will play a prominent role in the display.

Regency period furniture as well as art and antiquities both created by and belonging to Hope will be on show for visitors to luxury London hotel the Milestone to view from March 21st until June 22nd 2008.

Known as a pioneer of neo-classicalism in terms of design in England, sculpture, painting, furniture, interior design, costume, metalwork and silver from this period will be on display during the exhibition's run.

Recreations from the designer's Regency period Duchess Street townhouse will also feature in the show.

Visitors can contemplate the historical design period and Hope's role in it after viewing the exhibit over refreshments at nearby luxury London hotel the Milestone.
