This March, guests staying at luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair can look forward to spending a family day out at the Geffrye Museum.

As part of East Festival - which runs from March 6th until 11th 2008, activities and workshops will be on offer at the museum, which is located not far from luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair, to allow families to get into the spring spirit.

Visit London reports that children in particular will enjoy this day out, which includes decorating plant pots, planting seeds and listening to stories about the spring time.

But despite the child-centric activities on offer, parents will not be short of distractions to entertain them.

The galleries at the Geffrye Museum's will also be open during the event offering insights into the area in which east Londoners live.

There will be many events taking place close to luxury hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair to mark East Festival, such as a ringing of the famous Bow Bells at St Paul's Cathedral and fashion, film and food events.
