Mazda London Triathlon

Event: Mazda London Triathlon
Date: August 9th and August 10th 2008

The Mazda London Triathlon is taking place on August 9th and August 10th 2008 and is the ultimate event for guests of luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair who wish to test their strength and endurance.

One of the largest triathlons in the world, more than 8,000 people participate in the London Triathlon each year.

The programme consists of feats of running, swimming and cycling - with many competitors, including celebrities, sporting heroes and everyday Joes - participating in order to raise money for charity.

According to LondonTown, £1 million is generally donated to charity each year.

The race takes place around the ExCel Centre on London's Docklands meaning that spectators attending from luxury hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will have ample viewpoints from which to observe the proceedings.

However, those planning on getting involved in the events themselves should be sure to put in adequate preparation. The Mazda London Triathlon is arranging special open water swim days for such training.
