Event: London Festival of Architecture
Date: June 20th to July 20th 2008.

A stunning example of architecture itself, luxury London hotel the Montague may prove a fitting location for guests intending to visit the London Festival of Architecture.

Running from June 20th to July 20th 2008, this month-long celebration of the capital city's diverse architecture is a favourite of Londoners and tourists alike, showcasing the best the city's buildings have to offer, from the progressive to the traditional.

Guided walks, street exhibitions, cycle and boat rides, debates, talks, parties and workshops are all promised, with each weekend of the festival devoted to a different area of the city, representing a specific age of architectural history.

Highlights will include lectures by world-renowned architects such as David Chipperfield and Daniel Libeskind, while at the British Museum Jon Snow and Janet Street-Porter will provide visitors with their own personal take on the look of London.

The event is organised by Design for London, which was established to promote and support the continued development of well-designed architectural projects in the capital.
