Experience Cape Town's Hermanus Whale Festival

Held annually, the Hermanus Whale Festival in Cape Town is an ideal opportunity to participate in a celebration of the return of the beautiful Southern Right whales to South Africa.

Taking place during the latter part of September, the festival features a vast collection of attractions, including music, cabaret and comedy events, in addition to the beautiful sound of African rhythms.

At the venue's Old Harbour location, there will even be a South African Sustainable Seafood Initiative-orientated fish "cook-off".

And for visitors with children, there is the Whale Kids Club and Adventure. Located at Bosko Church, the kids club is a safe place to drop-off youngsters so that both children and parents can enjoy the day's events.
