Event: Cape Town Flower and Garden Show
Date: October 30th until November 2nd
Running for a few days from the end of October, the Cape Town Flower and Garden Show is an ideal opportunity to experience the flora of South Africa.
Taking place at the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate, there are marketplace pitches for products and services, while the show offers a fantastic assortment of specially-created gardens - all made with the tender care of specialist nurserymen, gardeners and landscaping specialists.
The Lourensford Wine Estate has a rich history going back to 1700 and is the birthplace of a number of fine wines, including those branded as Eden Crest and Lanzerac.
There is also a range named after the Lourensford Estate; one of the wines in the range is created from a blend of Merlot with Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, which guests at the Twelve Apostles luxury South Africa hotel might like to try on their travels.
