Event: Highlights: African American Art from the Norton Collection

Arranged by the Norton Museum of Art, visitors staying at luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach can now see African American Art at the Norton Museum of Art in Florida until August 31st.
A companion exhibition to The Personal Treasures of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey, works by African American artists created between the 1920s and 1990s features in this show.
Including artists such as Jacob Lawrence, Thermon Statom, Faith Ringgold, Gordon Parks, Alison Saar, Betye Saar and Bob Thompson, the exhibition seeks to showcase the diversity of African American art during these periods.
Styles of art featured will include oil, abstraction, contemporary pieces, landscapes created through mixed-media collage while photography and sculpture will also take up part of the show.
The Norton is currently hosting In The Hands of African American Collectors: The Personal Treasures of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey.
More than 90 objects from the Kinsey's private art and cultural collection are featured in this exhibit.
