Teddy Bears' Picnic

Event: Teddy Bears' Picnic at the V&A Museum

If you go down to the Victoria and Albert Museum on August 22nd you're in for a nice surprise as the venue hosts its own Teddy Bears' Picnic, perfect for those on family breaks at luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace.

Children and parents can Meet Rupert Bear at the Museum of Childhood's Teddy Bears' Picnic this summer - one of many family events taking place over the coming months.

Families can follow the Teddy Bear trail and make their own teddy bear mask to wear at the picnic.

A Best Dressed Bear contest will be held in the afternoon and the picnic itself will be held in the museum's grounds.

Other events that could prove popular with those taking family breaks at luxury London hotel the Rubens include Family Games Day taking place at the Museum of Childhood on August 15th.

A series of mini games will take place throughout the day with the winning family receiving a prize at the end of the day.

Games include a water bucket race, push-a-ping-pong-ball-with-your-nose race and a speed dresser race.
