Slightly Stoopid and John Mayer in Florida this August

Stars are heading in their droves to perform in the Sunshine State and this summer guests staying at luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach can see these performers up close and personal.

Kenny Chesney - once fleetingly married to actress Renee Zellweger - is to perform at the Cruzan Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach on August 28th 2008 alongside fellow country singer LeeAnn Rimes.

LeeAnn Rimes' song Can't Fight The Moonlight achieved fame in the hit film Coyote Ugly.

In addition to performances by Rimes and Chesney, guests staying in suites at luxury Florida hotel the Chesterfield Palm Beach will have the opportunity to see the band Slightly Stoopid and a show from singer John Maher this August.

Slightly Stoopid, a Californian band who describe their music as "a cornucopia of styles and influences - a little sweet lullaby here, a dose of Kingston rocksteady there", are performing at the Mizner Park Amphitheatre on August 30th.

Meanwhile, blue-eyed soul singer John Maher - who is currently dating Friends actress Jennifer Aniston - will be performing at the Cruzan Ampitheatre on August 31st.
