American firm Momix is to wow audiences in the capital next month with Moses Pendleton's other-worldly dance production, Lunar Sea.

Fans of contemporary dance with a twist can look forward to some stunning tricks of illumination as performers are covered in black light, seemingly disappear and then emerge to float through the darkness of the stage glowing as they do so.

Unbound by the laws of gravity, the event is described as a "black and white ballet" and features projections and puppets from Michael Curry.

The New York Times describes the show as "a joyous, fantastic, magical multi-media creation - eye-popping and mind-boggling".

Parents who think the show will entertain their children can enhance the experience even more by combining their family break with a suite at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens.
