Festival New Orleans at the O2 Arena

Event: Festival New Orleans
Date: October 24 to 25th

For those who love jazz and blues music the Festival New Orleans is the ideal event this October.

To be held at London's O2 arena, the event is free for all and will feature acts like Buckwheat Zydeco, Allen Toussaint and Dr John on the line up.

Included in the musical genres for the event are gospel, Cajun and zydeco, in addition to the jjazz and blues tunes which can be heard.

The event is not just for music lovers, with food from the US area also on offer.

Demonstrations will be held on the art of cooking, the Mardis Gras Indians will feature and authentic New Orleans attractions will be recreated.

The area of Bourbon Street in the French Quarter will also be reconstructed at the event to offer further entertainment.

It is expected to be the largest of its kind outside the US and will feature over 20 acts between October 24th and 25th.
