The Woman in Black at Fortune Theatre

Event: The Woman in Black
Date: October 31st until December 26th

Described by the Daily Mail as "A truly nerve-shredding experience", Stephen Mallatratt's adaptation of Susan Hill's best-selling novel The Woman In Black comes to London next month looking to scare and amaze those who attend.

While fear will be top of the bill in the theatre, there will be no such thing should visitors opt to stay in a suite at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens.

Sumptuous luxury awaits those who choose to take advantage of the It's Showtime package, where a pre-theatre dinner and two tickets to a theatre of choice will be laid on.

With accommodation arranged, guests can look forward to a journey through Eel Marsh House, a "gaunt and isolated" building, with solicitor Arthur Kipps, who is ordered by his firm to attend the funeral of Mrs Alice Drablow, who lived and died in the abode.

At the burial, the young Mr Kipps notices a woman with a wasted face stood at the back of the proceedings and again in the graveyard to one side of Eel Marsh House.

He asks questions about her, but nobody will talk about the woman in black.

Determined, the solicitor waits until he sees her again and the elusive figure reveals herself and what her purpose is.

The Daily Telegraph describes the play as "the most brilliantly effective spine chiller you will ever encounter".
Prepare for a chilling insight into The Woman In Black.
