Cine World Film Festival, Burns Court Cinemas

Event: Cine World Film Festival
Date: November 7 - 13th

Film fans will be flocking to Florida for the ten-day film festival, where over 50 movies will be shown.

Organised by the Sarasota Film Society, the event will be a variety of films, shorts, documentaries and experimental work shown at the Burns Court Cinemas.

The event will run from November 7th to 13th, with an opening night gala on the first evening, running from 19:00 local time to midnight.

Entry is $8.50 (£4.90) for a single ticket but visitors can purchase a gold pass, which allows 12 admissions, for $102.

A full pass which permits over 40 admissions is also available, priced at $275.

Fort Lauderdale is also hosting its international film festival, running from October 12th to November 9th.

Included in the event are discussions on films, viewings of new movies, such as Coyote and Happy Go Lucky, and a tribute to Paul Newman.

Those who want a comfy place to lay their head after all the film watching can stay at the Chesterfield Palm Beach hotel and select the Sweethearts Package, which offers guests a suite, romantic dinner and champagne.
