Christmas Fair, Business Design Centre, London

Event: Country Living magazine’s Christmas Fair
Date: November 12th – 16th

Shoppers to this festive event will be able to select from over 7,000 Christmas presents for friends and family.

More than 350 exhibitors will be present at the Christmas Fair, which is set to run from November 12th to 16th in London's Business Design Centre.

Sponsored by Country Living magazine, the event will also have carol singing, celebrity chefs, food demonstrations and other entertainment.

According to the official website, the opening hours for the market have been extended since last year, due to popular demand, meaning shopping can now commence at 09:30 GMT on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Presents available to buy range from jewellery and accessories, to handmade toys and home furnishings, offering a gift idea for all ages.

On the night of November 12th a special gala evening will take place, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the magazine's chosen charity, the Field Studies Council.

Those weary after a long day's shopping can rest their head at the 41 hotel nearby. If in need of some extra festive spirit, guests can opt for the It's A Wonderful Life At Christmas package, which offers a tree ornament, Christmassy film and mistletoe in the room.

Another festive event taking place in London a week earlier is the Christmas light switch-on, to be held on Regent Street.
