Event: Beth Chatto: A Retrospective
Date: November 18th – April 19th
The first exhibition at the Garden Museum in London will chart the life work of horticulturalist Beth Chatto.
Set to begin on November 18th, when the museum opens, the exhibition will look at the life of the gardener through photographs and pictures of her work.
It will be open from Tuesday to Saturday each week, running until April 19th next year.
The official website describes Ms Chatto as "one of the most influential living gardeners in Britain", saying her work is still relevant to gardeners today.
It states the event will focus on her approaches to design, work and the influence of her husband on her career.
A special private preview night will be held on November 17th for friends of the venue, with entry costing £20 for non-members and £15 for friends.
Other events which are due to be held at the Garden Museum is the Artists and the Garden, which focuses on advice for restoring historic gardens and conserving them.
Those attending any events at the museum can stay at the 41 hotel , where a Go See London package is offered. It gives the guest sightseeing tour and tickets for the city.
