Oliver! at the Theatre Royal

Event: Oliver
Date: December 12th until July 19th

"Please sir, can I have some more?" is what Londoners will soon be saying as Lionel Bart's classic play Oliver! comes to the capital this winter.

An all-star cast will take to the stage this December to bring Dickens' characters to life, including Black Adder actor Rowan Atkinson who will take on the role of Fagin.

Jodie Prenger, who recently appeared on the BBC's I'd Do Anything Show, joins him as Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh's production.

The story centres on an orphanage where young Oliver Twist raises the courage to ask for a second helping of gruel.

From there a tale of wit unfolds which follows the trials and tribulations of the boy, played out to a delightful score of music from Lionel Bart.

Attendees can expect the classic story to be told to a background of songs including Food Glorious Food, You've Got To Pick-a-Pocket Or Two, I'd Do Anything and As Long As He Needs Me.

With master pickpocket Fagin on the loose in London visitors will need somewhere safe and comfortable to stay after the show and a suite at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens can provide it.

The Get More From Your Stay package will provide guests with either a bottle of champagne, afternoon tea, a two-course pre-theatre dinner for two or tickets for the London Eye.
