The Song of Hilde at Baron's Court Theatre

Event: The Song of Hilde
Date: January 15th until 17th

The Vikings are coming and they have only one thing on their minds - blood.

However, one place where audience members can be safe from these barbarians is in a suite at the luxury London hotel the Milestone, where comfort, safety and splendour await.

At the Baron's Court Theatre, visitors will gather around the fire and hear the bard recite The Song of Hilde, a bloody tale of Vikings setting foot on these shores and invading Yorkshire.

The town of Whitby is overrun with these intruders, but a young nun named Hilde charms one of these warriors who ends up protecting her from the violence bestowed on the town by his blood-thirsty brethren.

What audiences will witness is a tale of love, sacrifice and slaughter, a unique mock-epic poem delivered with poise and panache by Christopher Tully, who plays the roles of nuns, heroes and baddies.

After the show, guests at the Milestone can leave the violence and fear behind and return to the comfort and tranquillity of their hotel room.

By choosing the It's Showtime package, visitors can enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, a pre-theatre table d'hote dinner before the show, plus two tickets to a theatre of their choice to enjoy the following evening.
