Event: Into The Little Hill
Date: February 14th to 19th
The Pied Piper is coming to the capital in February and he will be bringing with him entertainment and drama for audiences to enjoy.
However, this a different Pied Piper, a faceless man who gets his own back on the people of a village who dare to cross him.
The stranger enters a town which is infested with rats and offers to exterminate the vermin for a price.
Keeping his side of the bargain, the man rids the place of all of the unwanted rodents but is double crossed by the mayor who refuses to pay him.
One part of the capital where visitors will find no rats whatsoever is at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens.
Cleanliness, comfort and quality are in abundance and guests who choose the Get More From Your Stay package can look forward to a bottle of champagne to enjoy after the play as well as a two course pre-theatre dinner before they go out.
With accommodation secured, visitors can look forward to the show and how the double-crossed stranger gets his own back on the unscrupulous mayor by taking all of the town's children away.
That is not all people can look forward to as Harrison Birtwistle's Down By Greenwood Side is also part of the show.
A landmark of contemporary music theatre, the production sees Father Christmas introduce St George to do battle with Bold Slasher, but this is interrupted by the ballad of the Cruel Mother and her abandoned children.
