The Deutsche Borse Prize at the Photographer's Gallery
Event: The Deutsche Borse Photography Prize
Date: February 20th until April 12th
Photo buffs will be flocking to the exhibition supporting the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize, to be held at the Photographers' gallery.
Running from February 20th to April 11th this year, the show will allow people to see the work of this year's four finalists in the competition, which they can do while staying at the luxury London hotel, the Chesterfield Mayfair.
The photography prize aims to find the best contemporary photography, which can be displayed in an exhibition or a publication.
Paul Graham, Emily Jacir, Tod Papageorge and Taryn Simon are this year's finalists, with the winner being revealed on March 25th.
Judging the hopeful candidates will be David Compant, from the University of Westminster, David Goldblatt, a photographer, Chus Martinez, chief curator at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona and Anne-Marie Beckmann, curator of the German Art Collection Deutsche Borse.
The London-based Photographers' Gallery exhibition, which accompanies the award, will be visiting Berlin and Frankfurt later in the year.
Visitors to the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel can opt for the Mayfair Weekends package, which offers a complimentary bottle of champagne, afternoon tea and a full breakfast.
