Event: Adrian Berg RA
Date: March 19th until June 24th
Adrian Berg first studied medicine and then English at Cambridge University before deciding to pursue a career as an artist.
Following a short spell as a teacher, Berg studied a course at St Martin's Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art and would later return to the Royal College to work as a lecturer.
At the Royal Academy of Arts, a selection of his best panoramic watercolours will go on display, most of which were painted during the 1980s and 1990s.
Visitors will see pictures of some of his favourite locations, including Kew Gardens in London, The Alcazar in Seville and the Lake District.
Those in attendance can do more than just look however, as all items on show will be available for purchase, meaning attendees could find the perfect painting to fill a naked wall at home.
For those coming from outside the capital, a stay at the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair could make the weekend even more special.
By choosing the Art Lovers package, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast, afternoon tea for two on one day and two tickets to the Royal Academy.
