The New Yorkers is the latest diamond unearthed from yesteryear by Ian Marshall Fisher's Lost Musical series and for guests staying at the luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace, it could be a great evening's entertainment.
Visitors at the Rubens can secure tickets to the event, subject to availability, by booking the It's Showtime package, which also includes a pre-theatre dinner with coffee and dessert and a full English breakfast the following morning.
For 18 years, Mr Marshall Fisher has gone in search of neglected works from some of the US' finest theatre writers and composers and presenting them in their original form.
The latest gem he has found is The New Yorkers, a look into the famous party scene in New York in the 1920s.
During this period, the city's low lives had a strong fascination with the high society way of living and this leads a gangster and an heiress to begin a passionate affair.
It is a tale which will have audiences gripped, with its sharp humour and intricate plot promising a wonderful evening's fun.
