Catch the festival of music in Geneva

Travellers to Geneva's luxury hotel, the Hotel d'Angleterre, can catch the Fête de la Musique this summer when the city celebrates music for three days.
Running from June 19th to 21st, the festival will see people flock to the city for a variety of performances in the streets, squares and courtyards of the areas.
More than 50 stages are erected across Geneva to host these performances, with all genres being played – including jazz, classical, world music and electro.
Tourists and locals alike will mix in this street party, with most having to use public transport as the streets are closed to allow the festivities.
Geneva is not alone in its hosting of the Fête de la Musique, as cities across Europe and the world take part in the event on June 21st – marking the day of summer solstice in the northern hemisphere.
