London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre

Event: London Literature Festival
Date: July 2nd until 16th

Buz Aldrin, Arundhati Roy, Benjamin Zephaniah, Lemn Sissay - these are just some of the names who will be in attendance at the London Literature Festival, which this year boasts a bigger and better programme than ever before.

For two weeks in July, some of the greatest literary minds will be in the capital for this celebration of the written and spoken word.

Joining them will be thousands of fans and enthusiasts keen to join the party.

That means the demand for accommodation is likely to be high.

To avoid the disappointment of having to stay in a sub-standard hotel, visitors can book a stay at the luxury London hotel the Montague on the Gardens and enjoy a full English breakfast, two tickets to a theatre of choice and a pre-theatre dinner courtesy of the Its Showtime package.

Joining the likes of Sissay, Roy and the thousands of fans attending the festival will be Peter Ackroyd, Amartya Sen and Sarah Waters, who will bring internationally-renowned music, writing, poetry and debate to proceedings.

Several classic literary pieces will be performed, including an outdoor production of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and an intimate storytelling of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness.
