The La Batie Festival in Geneva began life as a small gathering in the La Batie Forest.
Over 30 years later and it stands as one of the highlights of the Swiss cultural calendar, drawing artists, singers and performers from across the world to the beautiful city of Geneva for two weeks of fun.
Despite the location of the event changing over the years, the aim has always remained the same - to give a platform for local performing arts talent to shine and show the locals what they can do.
With international performers taking part as well, it really is a memorable show.
More than 20 venues across the city will hold various different events, with contemporary dance, classical drama, visual arts and installations all included in the programme.
