Cape Town to celebrate summer in OBZ Festival

Cape Town is set to celebrate the beginning of summer in an annual festival that guests of the Twelve Apostles hotel in South Africa will not want to miss.
Saturday December 5th to Monday 7th 2009 will see the largest street festival of its kind in southern Africa take centre stage in Observatory, just 25 minutes away from the luxury South Africa hotel.
The OBZ Festival, which normally takes place on the first weekend of December, will feature music, film screenings, arts and crafts showcases and child-friendly activities.
Visitors can enjoy acoustic and jazz tunes as well as live funk, soul, hip-hop, rock, ska, reggae and Afro pop music performances by visiting different sections dedicated to particular genres.
The sections include the popular OBZ Market, Loud, Kids, Live, Film, Acoustic, Lazy Sunday and the Village Green - a designated area featuring bars, cash machines and fine deli-style catering.
