Enron at the Noel Coward Theatre

Event: Enron
Date: January 16th until May 8th

The rise and fall of Enron was one of the biggest corporate scandals in history and makes the perfect fodder for a dramatic stage play.

Almost a decade ago, the company stood tall as one of the biggest energy firms in the world and the envy of businesses across the globe.

As with most things in life, however, all was not what it seemed.

The company's growth into an energy behemoth was supported by institutionalised, systematic and creative accounting fraud which would eventually bring this once-mighty institution to its knees.

Directed by Rupert Goold, this play uses dance, music and video to tell this fascinating and complicated story, which sheds light on the financial difficulties the world currently finds itself in.

After the curtain comes down at the Noel Coward Theatre, couples can make the short, ten-minute journey to the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair and start enjoying the delights of the Mayfair Weekends package.

The deal includes a complimentary bottle of Champagne, traditional afternoon tea for two, a full English breakfast each day and a late checkout until 18:00 GMT, along with a complimentary newspaper and WiFi.
