February is a cold time of year for the capital, but the spirit of southern Spain will sweep through the streets bringing warmth and excitement to all.
The Flamenco Festival London has established itself as one of the city's most special events, bringing the hot-blooded passion and energy of Andalusia to east London.
Those who have not had the chance to see this amazing and colourful spectacle before will get their chance very soon, when the festival returns for another fortnight of foot stomping and skirt twirling early next year.
It promises to be bigger and better than ever, with the Nuevo Ballet Español introducing audiences to emerging trends in the world of flamenco, fusing traditional dance with 21st century pop sensibility and Andalucian folklore influences.
Other highlights include performances from some of the world's greatest flamenco dancers, including Eva Yerbabuena, who will present her brand new show Lluvia.
The Gala Flamenco will feature some of the most important up-and-coming figures, such as Pastora Galvan and Manuel Liñan, who will bring fresh ideas and techniques to the stage.
For couples, it is a wonderful opportunity to explore one of the world's most sensuous dances.
When the show comes to an end, they can make the short 15-minute journey to the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair and enjoy a bottle of fine Champagne in their room, courtesy of the Mayfair Weekends package.
Guests are also treated to traditional afternoon tea for two, a full English breakfast each day, a complimentary newspaper and Wifi along with a late checkout on the last day, giving them a little bit longer to enjoy the capital.
