Jerusalem at the Apollo Theatre

Event: Jerusalem
Date: January 28th until April 24th

Fans of comic theatre should head down to the luxury London hotel The Chesterfield Mayfair between January 28th and April 24th 2010 and make a visit to the Apollo Theatre.

Visitors will be able to take in a performance of Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem, as directed by Ian Rickson.

Telling the tale of Johnny Byron, a waster and modern-day pied piper, it traces his avoiding of the council officers trying to track him down to issue an eviction notice.

In addition, he must try and dodge his children's attempts to get him to take them to the fair and various groups of friends and thugs trying to locate him.

Among its cast are Office star Mackenzie Crook and Mark Rylance, with designs by Ultz and music by Stephen Warbeck.

After taking in the riotous performance, guests should take the less than a mile walk back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the Art and Culture at the Royal Academy of Arts package.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a night's accommodation, full English breakfast, two tickets to an exhibition and a framed postcard souvenir.
