Cape Town Carnival at various locations

Cape Town is famous for its year-round carnival atmosphere, with singing, dancing and more to be found on the corner of every street throughout the city.
Now though, the people of this vast conurbation have a dedicated carnival to celebrate the diversity and magic which makes it such a special place.
For two days in March the city will come to a standstill as locals and visitors come together to enjoy music, dance shows and much more.
The organisers have highlighted the Rio Carnival as being the standard, however, Cape Town's inaugural festival will have a distinctly South African feel and show the world the creative talents which make it such a rich and vibrant part of the world.
Rhythm, Roots and Boots is the theme of the carnival and visitors can be sure that the entertainment will be loud and proud.
When the time comes to take a load off and recover from all the fun, the ultra comfy beds at the luxury Cape Town hotel the 12 Apostles will be waiting.
