Venues across London are set to open their doors in September in celebration of the capital's role as one of the world's leading design centres.
The London Design Festival will take place between September 18th and 26th and more than 200 events are scheduled to be held throughout the capital - many of which will be free to view.
Many ongoing exhibitions are included in the proceedings and the opening of many new exhibits is being timed to coincide with the festival taking place.
Over 150 venues will be hosting events, meaning guests staying at luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will have the opportunity to visit some attractions they may not usually consider during a trip to London.
These include the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens - home to the tenth Serpentine Gallery Pavilion designed by French architect Jean Nouvel - and museumaker at the Geffrye Museum, showcasing lighting designed by Kei Ito.
After exploring the various offerings of the festival - which is now in its seventh year - guests at the Chesterfield Mayfair who have opted for the Mayfair Weekends package will be able to return to complimentary afternoon tea on one day, or choose to enjoy a bottle of Champagne in their room.
In addition, all guests who choose the Mayfair Weekends option will be able to start every day of their stay with a full English breakfast.
