A trip to London is not complete without picking up a souvenir or two, but visitors who are heading to the capital late next month could find they return with more than just the traditional model of Big Ben.
Battersea Park is hosting the autumn Antiques Fair from September 28th to October 3rd, giving those in the city the chance to browse English and European antiques, as well as art dating right up to the present day.
Around 140 exhibitors are expected to be in attendance at the fair, which, organisers say, is an excellent source of 20th century designs, lighting, mirrors and Gustavian and Swedish furniture items, so even those who go with the intention of only window shopping could find themselves having to make arrangements to get a new purchase shipped back home.
Attendees will be able to take a break from browsing at the licensed restaurant and coffee bar located in the park's marquee and coffee bar, while Sloane Square and Knightsbridge are also nearby.
Guests at luxury London hotel the Rubens at the Palace will be able to recharge their batteries over dinner once they return to the hotel, as those who opt for the Get More From Your Stay package can enjoy a complimentary three course carvery meal for two on one night.
Alternatively, they can pick from a bottle of pink Champagne to enjoy on arrival, or a romantic turndown on one evening.
