Those planning a relaxing trip to London could be in for a welcome surprise if they take along any family heirlooms or antiques they have been meaning to have valued.
The British Museum will be hosting the Antiques Roadshow early next month, giving attendees the chance to bring items along and have the, valued by professionals.
A recording of the BBC television series is to take place in the forecourt of the famous tourist attraction on Thursday September 2nd and is sure to be popular among Londoners who want to find out if they have had a priceless vase of painting sitting unnoticed in their home.
Proceedings get underway at 09:00 BST and filming for the show - fronted by Fiona Bruce - will occur throughout the day.
