Cirque du Soleil celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a special return visit to the Royal Albert Hall from 5th January to 13th February. This legendary theatre company began when a group of street performers in Quebec decided to create a new venue for their passion. Under the guidance of Guy Laliberté, Cirque du Soleil has used its passion for creativity and innovation to redefine the entertainment landscape, and thrill audiences all around the world.
Varekai tells the story of a fallen angel who finds himself lost in the mysterious shadows of a magical forest. It's a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastical creatures, where everything is possible and the tantalising promise of redemption beckons. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai.
