Coyo Taco

First launched in Miami’s fashionable Wynwood district, Coyo Taco takes a gourmet approach to this much loved Mexican fast food. The chic eatery opened on Palm Beach’s Royal Ponciana Way this spring, and is delighting diners with its made-to-order guacamole and menu that includes locally sourced meats and farm-to-table vegetables. Hand press tacos are available with flavourful and imaginative fillings, such as marinated chicken and roasted pineapple, slow roasted lamb shoulder and Oaxaca Pasilla sauce, or the vegetarian approved quinoa and queso ‘falafel’, which is combined with a cactus salad and cucumber cilantro yoghurt. In addition to the signature tacos, there are also excellent burritos, salad bowls and quesadillas, as well as some addictive churros, served with Mexican caramel sauce and chocolate.

Honor Bar

The ideal pit stop for visitors to Antiques Row, this new West Palm Beach restaurant, which opened this spring, is already a neighbourhood favourite. The friendly, informal venue serves an enticing all day breakfast menu, which includes carrot French toast sticks in addition to a lunchtime selection of open-faced sandwiches, soups and salads. The dinner offering is equally appealing, offering dishes like crab lasagne with asparagus and potato mille-feuille and sweet and sour brisket. Alternatively, antiques shoppers can refuel with a fortifying slice of chocolate ice box pie.

Formerly known as Cucina dell’Arte, it is now simply “Cucina” and its Italian focused menu has been extended. The effortlessly stylish interior is sure to be a hit with Palm Beach’s fashionable set and is a relaxed setting for either dinner or weekend brunch. A starter of mozzarella with charred tomatoes, basil, ciabatta and prosciutto crisps is particularly delicious as are the fried calamari with calabrese marinara and lemon sauce. Signature dishes like the Bolognese Ragu with hand cut pappardelle and whipped burrata are guaranteed to please, while the Impossible Burger, a vegan ‘beef’ burger served with vegan siracha aioli and fries, will impress even the fussiest eaters.
