Over 70 images of Audrey Hepburn will be on display as part of the new exhibition at the National Gallery © Norman Parkinson Ltd.

With many never-before-seen pictures on display (including private photos lent by her sons), this exhibition of Audrey Hepburn portraits at the National Gallery is a chance to see the many faces of this icon, from her days as a London chorus girl through to her philanthropic work in later life.

Hot off its international tour, Matthew Bourne’s critically acclaimed contemporary ballet returns to London for a run at Sadler’s Wells. Expect high-energy, passionate performances in this reimagining of Bizet’s opera Carmen, set in 1960s America.

Interactive, immersive and, at times, uncanny, “Decision” is the largest ever survey show of Carsten Höller in the UK. Taking place at the Hayward Gallery on the Southbank, this is guaranteed to be a gallery experience that, as the artist himself remarked, is “somewhere between delight and madness.”

High priests and princesses abound in this tragic tale of love and betrayal staged as part of Opera Holland Park’s 2015 season. This production of Verdi’s epic opera will be performed in Italian with English surtitles, with soprano Gweneth-Ann Jeffers singing the title role.
