Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales
Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales is an immersive theatrical experience set on the South Bank at Oxo Tower Wharf, where audience members are led by Little Red Riding Hood into the macabre and twisted fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. This show is ideal for children and adults, and audience members are reminded to wear warm clothing – things can get a little chilly in this dark winter tale.

Ancient lives, new discoveries at The British Museum
An exhibition of eight lives from the Egyptian and Sudanese “mummies” collection, The British Museum has extended its Ancient Lives, new discoveries exhibition until the end of April. Using the latest technology, experts are able to unravel the lives of these ancient mummies (one of which dates back to 35000 BC), from temple singers to a high-ranking priest’s daughter.

Swan Lake at Royal Opera House
This February, The Royal Opera House will welcome Anthony Dowell’s production of Tchaikovsky’s seminal ballet, Swan Lake. A contemporary version of a classic with spectacular costume and set design, this is a production of cinematic proportions, set in the picturesque surrounds of London’s Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

Chinese New year
One of our favourite London February events, Chinese New Year draws some of the biggest crowds in the country. Welcoming in the year of the sheep, the parades and celebrations will take place in Chinatown from 19th – 22nd February, featuring dragon dancers, traditional Chinese acts, and of course, plenty of delicious Chinese food.

Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía at Sadler’s Wells
A favourite fixture at Sadler’s Wells, this energetic ensemble returns to London under the direction of esteemed Spanish choreographer Rafaela Carrasco. Titled, “Images: 20 Years”, this production commemorates the 20th anniversary of the company and the influential choreographers who defined its repertoire.

London Fashion Week
The most crucial week in the fashion calendar, this event has designers, models and fashion journalists flying in from around the world. Following on from Milan, London Fashion Week will feature outstanding British designers from Burberry to Vivienne Westwood as well as showcasing international fashion houses and up-and-coming talent.

Sherlock Holmes at the Museum of London
Discover for yourself what made the mind of this intrepid detective tick. One of our must-see London February events, this exhibition at the Museum of London delves into the history of Conan Doyle’s iconic hero, his relationship with London and his present incarnation, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch’s costume from the BBC series.
