With a delicious range of spookily themed events, Halloween is guaranteed to be a treat at The Milestone Hotel.  On the 30th and 31st October, the hotel is offering a special Halloween Afternoon Tea. Feast on a tasty array of traditional finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones with jam and Devonshire clotted cream alongside ghoulish treats that include eyeball chocolate truffles, bat praline millefeuille and a ghostly coconut meringue. Available in Cheneston’s Restaurant and the Park Lounge, this is a delicious and playful way to celebrate the scariest time of year.

Guests that book a two-night stay at The Milestone Hotel in October will receive 10% off as well as a £100 Harrods voucher to spend in store.

Afterwards, head to the historic Stables bar to sample the hotel’s Halloween cocktail, S.O.U.L., short for ‘some of us live’, a ghoulish creation that combines dramatic presentation with a deliciously fruity flavour. The Milestone’s Stables bar is well known and loved for its theatrical cocktails, and it will be serving up this seasonal delight from 28th-31st October. As you sip the blood red liquor, which is served in a crystal glass, take a moment to consider the colourful history of the building itself and its former inhabitants. In particular, the rags to riches story of Anne Marie Lucena. Originally a housemaid, Anne Marie became a rich widower and built Chenesiton House here in 1883, an impressive mansion complete with library, billiard room, drawing rooms and stables, but met with a tragic end at the hands of her daughter’s insane ex-husband. Thankfully, whilst S.O.U.L. may look like a blood curdling concoction, it’s actually a highly quaffable mix of Mount Gay XO rum, Orange Curaçao, lime and smashed raspberries and blackberries and is guaranteed to be a delicious, rather than deadly, experience.
